The royalty element also has a religious aspect to it as Jesus is also known to be the Prince. Kananelo is a 23 year old young lady who was born and bread in Bloemfontein, in the Free State but home for her, her Mother Palesa Ramatsepe and her younger sister Kutlwano Ramatsepe is now in eMalahleni (Witbank), Mpumalanga. However currently she lives in Midrand, Johannesburg where she is doing her third and final year, studying towards her BA Journalism degree at Midrand Graduate Institute (MGI).
The move to eMalahleni came about when her mother got a job offer in the coal mining town where she started working there in December 2005. Kananelo then went on to finish her high schooloing at Cambridge Acadamey where she was head girl in her matric year. After high school she was a bit undecided about her career path so she enrolled at Boston City Campus in eMalahleni where she did her Paralegal and graduated in April 2011. Half way through her paralegal cousre she realised that law is not for her however her interests lie in the media, "The penny dropped when I failed property law and I realised that this is not my field." says Kananelo.
She initially wanted to register for media studies but unfortunately for her that course on its own is not offered at MGI, however it is one of the major modules in journalism. Kananelo says the public should watch her as she climbes up the media and corporate commuications ladder with her paralegal ceritificate and BA Journalism degreein in her 6inch stilletos and pencil skirt, watch out world and,

LIFE AND CAREER
It took a few glass of wine (non-alcoholic) for Angela Osita popularly known as “Angie” by her close friends to accept my interview. I had being booking appointments to meet her for the past 3days but her busy schedules led to her turning down my appointments. I managed to get hold of her this faithful day and after a few drink, she took my interviews. Angela Osita is a 24 year old student, studying Bachelor degree in Journalism. Born and raised in the eastern part of Nigeria, Angela came from a family of 7, she happens to be the last and the only female in the family. She is versatile, with numerous hobbies due to time management she was able to mention four: writing, travelling, reading and dancing.
Her love for writing and interest in people led to her studying journalism. According to her, talking to people and finding more about them is one of the things she enjoys most “I love being around people, talking to them, it makes me feel good” she says.
A close observation to her attitude as i interviewed her revealed that she is a slightly shy type but not scared to voice out her opinion when necessary. she was bold enough to tell me that she would like to go into broadcasting journalism, not as a presenter or reporter but as a script writer, she added "i would also love to go into film making because i have always wanted to be a producer or director of a movie" documentary making as well is another field she would love to go into. looking at Angela, she seem to be a very hard working and dedicated person who can not afford to settle for second best or depend on any someone.
Besides her career, Angela looks forward to being with the man of her dream and having her own family. According to her, she would like to have 3 kids, 2 boys and a girl precisely and also look forward to raising them just as her mother did. Miss Osita can not wait to see her graduation day "i can't wait to graduate, i feel like I'm already in the industry" she says.
she advice to all aspiring journalists is to be dedicated and never look back at their dreams. she added "never allow anyone to look down on you, for you are unique on your own. you know what you want, do not hestiate to go for it".
Looking at Angela's career and personality, one could conclude that 5years from now, she would be a very successful and powerful lady and lots of people would look up to her and would love to be like her. Dedication and hard work really pay.
